The Portfolio — an electronic record of an undergraduate student’s involvement in student groups, leadership, community service, internships, research and other activities — will launch with a pilot project for about 80 students in October. The record is designed to complement the academic transcript.

A memorial service for Emily Benatar, a first-year student from Los Altos Hills, Calif., who died this past May from complications of meningococcal disease, will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in Graham Chapel. The time and place for the service have changed since originally announced. Benatar was 19 and a member of the women’s lacrosse team and Alpha Phi Sorority. A reception will follow in the Women’s Building.

The football team totaled 350 yards of offense but was hampered by five turnovers in a 20-14 loss to Coe College Sept. 15. Quarterback Eric Daginella was 9-of-19 for a career-high 142 yards and a touchdown while playing most of the second half for WUSTL. The Bears (0-3) face Kenyon College at 1 p.m. this Saturday at Francis Field.
